We prefer our puppies be picked up by their new owners when ready, but we do offer shipping for additional cost of flight and additional vet health certificate deeming them healthy to fly.

A Non-Refundable $500 deposit is required to hold your puppy until they are ready for their new homes.

Health Guarantee/ Contract

The breeder, Taya Fordanish, guarantees this puppy from life threatening hereditary defects for 1 year from date of transfer.

  • Puppies come with Limited(no breeding rights) AKC registrations papers and must be spayed or neutered at the appropriate age. Puppies are priced with limited registration for _________________.

  • You must reserve a puppy with a non-refundable down payment of $500.00.  I do not hold puppies until they are ready to go home for the buyer to pick out their puppy. I will send videos and pictures to the buyer to help them decide on a puppy. Buyer may also schedule a visit before the puppies are ready to go home to pick out a puppy. Puppies are picked on a first come first serve basis, based on who sends a deposit first and whether the buyer wants a male or female. Breeder may also get first choice of any litter.

  • We guarantee our puppies for one (1) year from the date of birth against any life threatening congenital genetic or hereditary disease or defect causing premature death.  It is my responsibility to provide you a clean, healthy, socialized puppy, free of disease, life threatening defects, internal or external parasites upon delivery.

  • When a puppy is shipped by air, a health certificate accompanies them. We assume no responsibility for airline mishaps.

  • Your puppy comes to you with current shots and de-worming. You will need to make sure to do follow-up visits with your vet to get the rest of your puppy’s shots.  For this warranty to be in effect you must take this pet to a licensed veterinarian (keep your papers) within 72 hrs of picking it up. This will be at the owner’s expense, but is necessary to validate this warranty.

Not Covered

  • Hereditary defects do not include communicable diseases that could be prevented by vaccinations (parvo, distemper etc…). Breeder must be notified immediately and have proof of defect or disease in writing from a licensed vet and the defective puppy and it’s AKC registration papers must be returned to the breeder at the adoptive person’s expense in order for them to receive a replacement puppy of the same breed/sex/quality when it becomes available. The breeder is not responsible for any vet bills that incur. A good way to safeguard your puppy is to avoid public parks, pet stores or places that have a lot of dog traffic until your puppy is fully vaccinated.

  • Umbilical hernias and pinched nostrils are very common among the Shih-Tzu breed and are not a life threatening condition, therefore are not bound by our contract. Shih-Tzu puppies commonly snore, snort, sniffle or bubble. These symptoms are of no cause for concern if the nasal discharge is clear and the puppy is playing, eating and acting normal. When a puppy is teething these symptoms may increase. Tight nostrils normally correct themselves as a pup matures.  This can take several months to occur.

  • The breeder does not guarantee puppies against umbilical hernias, pinched nostrils, retained testicles or hypoglycemia. Please choose a vet who is experienced and knowledgeable with the Shih-Tzu breed.

  • We will do our best to inform you of any minor, breed related, treatable or correctable conditions. These are NOT COVERED by the guarantee, as they are NOT LIFE THREATENING but TREATABLE CONDITIONS.

  • As much as we strive to raise healthy puppies, in toy breeds, loose patella (kneecap),umbilical cord hernia and retained baby teeth are common.

  • WE DO NOT GUARANTEE LIVER PROBLEMS due to the effect vaccines and flea and tic prevention can have on the liver.

  • We DO NOT GUARANTEE AGAINST damage caused by hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) ~ YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE THE PUPPY IS EATING.  Have raw natural honey on hand to give if the puppy seems lethargic or difficult to rouse. This can be caused by stress of a new home and/or shipping method.

  • We do not replace puppies for orthopedic problems.

  • Since puppies change as they mature, we do not guarantee color, size, conformation, coat quality, disposition, bite or breeding quality after said puppy is in the care of the new owner.

  • We recommend puppy to be spayed/neutered by the age of 6 months unless health conditions require otherwise. Please wait until your puppy is at least 5 pounds before scheduling any surgery to avoid unnecessary risks involved with Anesthesia.

  • Dogs sold with a 'LIMITED REGISTRATION' are not to be bred at all.

  • Our guarantee is to the person purchasing the Shih Tzu and expires if/when the puppy is transferred to another party.

  • We do not pay for or reimburse veterinary expenses, medicines, transportation or other costs, or offer cash refunds.

  • Replacement of a Shih Tzu is subject to the availability of another litter which could take up to one (1) year. No replacement will be given until the puppy's registration papers are returned to us.

  • This guarantee and policy information supersedes any other information you may have received and when you purchase a puppy from us you agree to these terms and conditions.

  •

If for some reason you can no longer care for your puppy and cannot find a loving home, please, before you drop him/her off at a shelter, contact us first.

To ensure the health and welfare of our puppies, no puppy will be adopted out to a puppy mill for breeding purposes.  No puppy will be adopted out to someone who boards their dogs outside in the elements no matter what the climate of that home.  If the breeder, Taya Fordanish, discovers an undesirable condition/circumstance about a person who wishes to adopt a puppy/dog,  I may void any oral or written contract concerning adoption.  If this happens, the breeder will be held harmless from the cancellation of the agreement.
